This superb chess set is hand-carved from Indian Rosewood. The dark pieces are a deep, gloss brown and show off the wood grain to great effect. The pieces are double-weighted and have felted bases. The king size is 3.75" (approx. 9.5cm).

The chess set comes in a beautiful Burlwood (Walnut) presentation box with brass catches.
