The 'War Drums' Starter Set contains everything you need to play the Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures game. The rules are easy to learn and the skirmish games are fast-paced and full of action. Best of all, you can continue building up your war band with the Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures Booster packs, which each contain 8 randomly selected figures.
The 'War Drums' set contains a wide range of detailed, painted miniature figures drawn from key Dungeons & Dragons titles, such as 'Monster Manual', 'Miniatures Handbook', and the 'Eberron' and 'Forgotten Realms' campaigns.

This set also includes an elite group of figures that come with a second, epic-level stat card, allowing players to assemble higher-value armies with which to do battle. In addition to new components, the overall game rules have been updated to facilitate faster game play and encourage larger battles. The rules have been adjusted to accommodate any size figure, from tiny to huge, and will be compatible with any 'Dungeons & Dragons' Miniatures game release.
