If ever a game captured an certain era, 'Blast Off' is that game. Dating from 1969, it was launched the same year that Neil Armstrong became the first man to set foot on the moon, and is the perfect gaming memento of that time.

Players must first launch their own spacecraft and keep them safely orbiting the earth. They must then dock their capsule with a satellite, and then attempt a moon landing. This will in turn enable them to head off to the outer reaches of the solar system to try and land on the other planets. The first player to reach Pluto is the winner.

This game can also be played as a solitaire game.

The copy of the game that we currently have for sale (pictured below) is complete and in very good overall condition with all of  the delicate playing pieces intact.
