Made by Studio Anne Carlton, who are renowned for their high-quality ornamental chess sets, this highly detailed, hand-painted chess set commemorates the famous 'Battle of Waterloo' which was the decisive battle of the Napoleonic Wars. Fought in 1815 between the army of Napoleon Bonaparte, and the combined British and Prussian armies led by the Duke of Wellington, this battle helped shape modern Europe.

This set comes in a presentation box with individual foam inserts for the chess pieces.
