In ancient Greece - the cradle of European culture - Athens, Sparta, Corinth, and Thebes compete for dominance of the Greek peninsula and influence on Mount Olympus.

The players work to lead their city states to victory. Starting with a small village, each builds their town into a metropolis with oracles, temples, theatres, towers, and streets. They try to secure fruitful lands for themselves while hindering their opponents' search for the same.

Players should watch their opponents carefully as a single clever move can turn the promise of victory into disappointing defeat.
